Note: If proper servo direction cannot be achieved with the servo reversing

switches, swap the servo input leads from AILE to ELEV or vice versa.

MODES

Two versions of the DX4e are available: mode 1/3 and mode 2/4. The mode

switch changes the transmitter from mode 1 to mode 3 or from mode 2 to mode

4. See the Transmitter Control Identiﬁcation section for more details about the

differences between modes.

CAUTION: Check the mode switch before flight to be sure it

is in the correct mode.

FRANCE RF SETTING

TO SET FRANCE MODE:

Push and hold the trainer button on the top of the transmitter while pushing and

holding the two sticks as shown below, then turn on the power switch.

After hearing a series of descending beep tones, release the trainer switch and

the sticks. The France setting is now turned on.

Bind the transmitter to the receiver for the change to take effect. See page 9 for

binding instructions.
